Jazz on the Lawn Greta Pope: Duke ellington - the man, the music, the legend

The fabulous jazz singer Greta Pope, daughter-in-law of Duke Ellington’s vocalist Kay Davis, will present a concert on the mansion lawn 
​
  • Tickets - $23/person. Free foe children 12 and under.
  • Tailgating passes $20/car
  • Tailgating cars will be allowed to park beginning at 3 p.m., 
  • Doors open to general admission guests at 3:30 p.m.

Greta Pope is an award-winning and acclaimed American singer, songwriter, vocal coach, bandleader and radio host, and she and the Greta Pope Jazz Ensemble have performed all over the world. Through her relationship with Kay Davis, she has created a one-woman show, “Duke Ellington … The Man, The Music, The Legend!” in which she shares Kay Davis’ experiences singing with the legendary Duke Ellington and his jazz orchestra, known for titles such as “Take the A Train” and “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’tGot That Swing).”
